NCGR Internships:
In Summer 2013 NCGR will again be offering its competitive internship program. Based on last years successful model, up to twenty students will be spending two weeks in a classroom environment followed by six weeks of self-directed bioinformatics research, working with their own data where possible.

Six interns this year will be supported by the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation Marine Micro-Eukaryote Transcriptome Sequencing Project (www.marinemicroeukaryotes.org), an initiative to sequence the transcriptomes of 750 single-celled marine eukaryotic species.

Other interns will be supported by the New Mexico INBRE Sequencing and Bioinformatics core (www.nminbre.org) and by individual research grants.
